Dr Emily Tobke
Originally from Melbourne, Florida, Dr. Emily Tobkes is a proud double Gator. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology, graduating Cum Laude, from the University of Florida before receiving her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. She has a special interest in cosmetic and restorative dentistry and particularly enjoys helping patients improve both their oral health and confidence. Above all, Dr. Tobkes values the lasting relationships she builds with her patients and the opportunity to make a positive impact on their lives.
Dr. Tobkes is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles through personalized, comprehensive dental care. She believes that exceptional dentistry begins with building trust and creating an environment where patients feel comfortable, heard, and genuinely cared for.
Outside of the office, Dr. Tobkes enjoys spending time with her family and friends, staying active through pilates and fitness classes, reading, and spending time outdoors. As a lifelong Floridian, she is excited to be part of the Brandon community and looks forward to caring for patients and their families for years to come.
I am a new patient with Dr. Barr and have been very pleased so far. The first appointment was to meet with Dr. Barr to review my dental health. She was very polite and professional. She offered some great suggestions on future care but was not pushy at all. Today I had my first cleaning with Jillian and she did a wonderful job! She was ahead of schedule, told me what she was doing on each step and showed interest in hearing about my concerns. She was extremely gentle and seemed to be very thorough. The office staff have all been very pleasant and the office seems very clean. The aviaries are also a nice distraction. I am very pleased with my decision to switch dental offices and will be a long term patient.
